Sticky sessions vs. rotation: when to use each
The right session strategy depends on what the target expects. Keep an IP when continuity matters; rotate when fresh exits improve coverage or access.
Use sticky sessions for continuity
A sticky session keeps the same exit IP for a period of time. This is helpful for carts, logins, multi-step forms, and workflows where a changing IP can interrupt progress.
Use rotation for breadth
Rotation gives repeated requests fresh exits. It can help distribute collection across locations and reduce dependence on a single address.
Test the interval
Start with the target’s normal browsing pattern. Rotate too often and sessions may look inconsistent; rotate too slowly and one IP may carry too much traffic.
