Regional visibility for cybersecurity teams

See how public assets appear from the regions where your customers and brand are exposed, then record findings in the tools you already use.

Who this is for

SOC analysts, brand-protection, and threat-intel teams who need a controlled network perspective — not a replacement SIEM or monitoring platform.

Investigate from the right network location

Open public URLs through a chosen country so redirects, language, and blocking match what people in that market actually see.

Why teams add a proxy layer

True regional view

Confirm what a user in another country can load, not only what your office network sees.

Safer sampling

Inspect suspicious public pages from an isolated proxy instead of an analyst laptop on the corporate IP.

Repeatable checks

Save location plus credentials so the same URL can be re-checked during incident response.

Investigation controls

Location selection

Set the dashboard location to the market named in the ticket or intel report.

Sticky or rotating sessions

Stay on one IP while you click through a public flow. Rotate when you sample many unrelated URLs.

Works with your tools

Point a browser profile, curl, or sandbox fetcher at the proxy. Detection and ticketing stay in your stack.

Security workflows

  • Phishing and impersonation

Load reported URLs from the victim’s region and capture redirects and page content.

  • Localized takedown evidence

Show how a brand-abusing page appears in a specific market.

  • Exposure checks

Verify public assets and geo-fenced content during an incident.

Mobile or residential

Use mobile or residential so the investigation view is closer to consumer access. Datacenter is fine for simple public fetches that are not geo-sensitive.

Sessions

Sticky while you walk a single site. Rotate between unrelated URL samples.

Location

Match the country in the report. If the victim city is known and available, use it.

Before you start

  • A ticket or intel item with the URL, suspected region, and what you need to capture.
  • A Premip plan with that location.
  • A dedicated browser profile or fetch script — do not mix this with daily browsing.
  • A place to store screenshots, HAR files, or HTML in your case system.

How to run a regional investigation

Treat the proxy as a controlled viewpoint. Keep analysis and response in your existing security process.

  1. Step 1

    Scope the check

Record the URL, suspected country, and the question you need to answer (live page, redirect chain, geo block, or impersonation).

  2. Step 2

Issue a proxy for the investigation

Sign up or open an existing proxy. Prefer a workspace that is not shared with unrelated scraping jobs.

  3. Step 3

    Set the location

Choose the market from the dashboard before you load the URL. Changing location later can change what you capture.

  4. Step 4

    Configure a dedicated client

Create a browser profile or script that uses http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@HOST:PORT. Disable unrelated extensions that leak your real IP.

  5. Step 5

    Load the public URL

Capture status codes, redirect hops, and the rendered page. If you use curl first, follow redirects and save headers plus body.

  6. Step 6

Keep the session if you click further

Stay sticky while you inspect linked public pages on the same host so cookies and IP stay consistent.

  7. Step 7

    File the evidence

Attach location, timestamp, proxy product, and captures to the ticket. Do not store proxy passwords in the case notes.

  8. Step 8

Re-check on a schedule if needed

For brand protection, rerun the same location and URL. Rotate the IP if you are sampling many unrelated hosts.

Capture headers from the target region
Replace USERNAME, PASSWORD, HOST, and PORT with values from your dashboard.
curl -I -L -x http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@HOST:PORT https://example.com

Cybersecurity questions

Is this a security monitoring platform?
No. Premip supplies proxy access. Your team remains responsible for detection, monitoring, and response.
Can I use it for brand protection?
Yes. Location-aware access helps you inspect how public brand or impersonation pages appear in different markets.
Should I investigate malware binaries through the proxy?
Use your malware sandbox for execution. Use Premip to fetch public web content and observe geo-specific pages.
Can several analysts share one proxy?
They can share credentials, but mixed sessions make evidence harder to explain. Prefer one investigation, one session.

Open a regional viewpoint

Provision a proxy, set the location named in your ticket, and capture the public page from that market.
