Ecommerce operations
Regional proxy access for ecommerce teams
Understand storefronts, products, and competitors as they appear in each market, using the intelligence tools you already operate.
Who this is for
Ecommerce operators, category managers, and competitive-intelligence teams who need regional catalog and listing visibility.
Turn regional storefront differences into usable notes
Select a location, connect standard credentials, and collect public product and search experiences without duplicating your stack.
Team outcomes
In-market product pages
Load PDPs and category pages from the country you sell in or compete in.
Competitor assortment
See which SKUs, bundles, and promotions are public in each region.
No extra platform to learn
Keep looker, sheets, or internal tools. Premip is the access layer.
Storefront-oriented controls
Storefront targeting
Dashboard locations map to the markets on your expansion list.
Session choices
Sticky for a browse path; rotate between independent competitor sites.
Workflow compatibility
HTTP/SOCKS5 credentials drop into existing commerce intelligence jobs.
Ecommerce tasks
Competitor catalogs
Walk public category trees in each market.
Listing and availability
Check whether a product is offered and in stock locally.
On-site search placement
Run the same query from each location and capture ranking of your SKU.
Recommended setup
Mobile or residential
Retail sites often personalize by consumer network. Start with mobile or residential for each selling market.
Sessions
Sticky while you browse one storefront. Rotate when you move to a different competitor domain.
Location
Match the shipping country you are analyzing. Tag captures with that market.
Before you start
- Competitor and own-site URL lists per market.
- A Premip plan with those locations.
- A capture method: scripted fetch, headless browser, or manual research profile.
- A destination for notes (sheet, ticket, or warehouse).
How to run an ecommerce storefront check
Complete one market end to end, then clone the checklist.
Step 1
Define the catalog view
List products, competitors, markets, and how often you will repeat the check. Write the click path or URL pattern.
Step 2
Create the proxy
Sign up, choose mobile or residential unless you already know datacenter is enough, and open credentials.
Step 3
Set the market location
Select the country in the dashboard before loading any storefront.
Step 4
Connect the client
Configure the proxy URL. For browsers, use a dedicated profile so personal logins are not mixed in.
Step 5
Walk the storefront path
Home or search → category → product. Capture price, currency, availability, and visible promotions.
Step 6
Hold the session on one site
Stay sticky through that path. If you then open a different competitor, consider rotating first.
Step 7
Export observations
Store market, competitor, SKU, and fields. Flag pages that look like blocks so parsers can be fixed.
Step 8
Repeat for the next market
Change location and rerun the same path. Share the template with category and pricing teams.

- Can this support multiple storefronts?
- Yes. Use location targeting and run a separate pass per market or competitor as needed.
- Can I use a persistent session?
- Yes. Sticky sessions help when continuity matters for a browse path.
- Does Premip log into seller portals for me?
- No. You connect the proxy to your client. Account access remains your responsibility and must follow each site’s terms.
- Where do I see pricing for this?
- Plans for mobile, residential, and datacenter are on the pricing page.
