IP rotation
Rotation changes the exit IP assigned to your proxy. Your HOST, PORT, USERNAME, and PASSWORD do not change, so antidetect profiles and scripts keep working after a rotate.
Dashboard rotation
Open Dashboard → Proxies → your proxy → Rotate IP. Wait for the cooldown if the button is disabled. Active connections may drop briefly while the new exit is assigned.
When to rotate
Rotate between unrelated jobs, after a hard block, or when your runbook calls for a fresh IP. Do not rotate in the middle of a multi-step login or payment unless you are ready to restart the flow.
Cooldown
If the API returns PROXY_ROTATE_COOLDOWN, wait until the timer shown in the dashboard before trying again.
Auto-rotation rules
On the proxy detail page, enable auto-rotation and pick a rule: every request (new exit IP per connection when you do not send a session id), every minute, every 5 minutes, every 30 minutes, or every hour. Scraping jobs often combine every-request rotation with a fresh session id per URL when a flow must stay sticky.
Country selection
Target US, UK, Germany, France, or Netherlands by appending -country-us (or -country-gb, -country-de, -country-fr, -country-nl) to your username. On HTTP you can also pass country=us on the proxy URL or send X-Premip-Country. The code must match the proxy’s purchased location.
