Talent intelligence
Research local talent markets with confidence
See public job sites and search results the way candidates in each market see them, then compare demand and messaging across regions.
Who this is for
Talent intelligence, recruiting ops, and expansion teams who research public job markets — not an ATS or candidate CRM.
Add regional context to talent research
Collect public job-market signals from the locations you hire in, using a repeatable proxy setup and your existing research process.
What recruiting teams can compare
Local listing views
Job boards and search results often change by country.
Less home-office bias
Avoid assuming your HQ network represents every hiring market.
A reusable checklist
Same queries, new location, comparable notes for expansion planning.
Research controls
Local search views
Set the dashboard location to the city or country you are hiring in when available.
Controlled sessions
Sticky for a search session; rotate between independent boards if needed.
Works with research scripts
Standard credentials fit browsers and internal tooling.
Talent research tasks
Hiring demand
Compare public role volume and titles by market.
Candidate-facing search
See how queries surface in each region.
Competitor hiring
Review public employer pages and job posts by location.
Recommended setup
Residential or mobile
Job sites may vary by consumer geography. Use residential or mobile for the hiring market you are studying.
Sessions
Sticky while you page through one search. Rotate when you change boards or markets.
Location
Match the country or city you are opening or hiring in.
Before you start
- Roles, queries, and markets to compare.
- A Premip plan with those locations.
- A research log template (query, market, date, notable listings).
- Agreement on using only public pages and respecting each site’s terms.
How to research a talent market
Keep queries identical across markets so differences come from geography, not from changing the protocol.
Step 1
Lock the query set
Write role titles, locations as they appear on the board, and which public sites you will check. Do not change queries mid-study.
Step 2
Create the proxy
Sign up, choose a plan, and copy HOST, PORT, USERNAME, and PASSWORD.
Step 3
Select the hiring market
Set the dashboard location to the country or city under review.
Step 4
Configure a research browser or script
Point it at http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@HOST:PORT. Use a clean profile without personal job-board logins unless that is in scope.
Step 5
Run the query list
Capture result counts, top titles, and employer names as they appear. Save screenshots or exports if your process requires them.
Step 6
Stay sticky on one board session
Keep the same IP while you paginate. When you finish that board, stop or rotate before the next independent site.
Step 7
Repeat in the next market
Change only the proxy location and rerun the same queries. Tag every note with the market.
Step 8
Share findings with recruiting
Summarize demand, title language, and competitor activity. Keep proxy secrets out of slide decks.
