Why carrier networks matter for mobile proxies
Mobile carriers commonly place many subscribers behind shared public IPs (CGNAT). Premip mobile access uses that class of network. This is not a bug.
What you should expect
The public IP you see on an IP-check site is the carrier exit, not a unique home broadband address. Other subscribers on that carrier may share related infrastructure.
Why teams still choose mobile
Some destinations score mobile ASNs differently from hosting ranges. If a test URL only succeeds on mobile, keep that job on the mobile product.
Operational notes
Do not assume one public IP means one physical phone. Document the dashboard location and rotation time with your results.
Instructions
1. Compare products on the same URL
Fetch once on datacenter, once on residential, once on mobile. Keep the URL constant.
2. Record ASN and country
Save the IP-check output with the product name.
3. Lock the product that returns a real page
Promote that product for the job; do not mix products in one unlabeled dataset.
