How to set up a proxy in v2rayN
v2rayN can use Premip as an upstream HTTP or SOCKS5 server. Use dashboard credentials only. Do not paste unrelated subscription URLs.
Add a custom server
Create a server entry. Set address to HOST, port to PORT, and protocol to HTTP or SOCKS5 to match how you will connect.
User and password
Fill in USERNAME and PASSWORD. Save, then set that server as active.
System proxy
Enable the client’s system proxy mode if you want browsers to follow it. Confirm with an IP-check site.
Instructions
1. Start with HTTP
HTTP is enough for most browsers. Add SOCKS5 only if an app requires it.
2. Test one browser
Open a clean window and load a public IP page.
3. Clear the system proxy when finished
Turn off v2rayN system proxy so other apps return to the direct path.
