Proxy setup
How to set up a proxy in NekoRay
NekoRay is a desktop proxy client. Premip supplies the server details; NekoRay supplies the local TUN or system proxy.
Create a server
Add a new profile. Choose HTTP or SOCKS when the UI asks for protocol. Enter HOST and PORT from the dashboard.
Authentication
Enable username and password. Paste USERNAME and PASSWORD exactly. Save the profile.
Select and connect
Select the profile, start the client, then visit a public IP-check page. The country should match the dashboard location.
Instructions
1. Copy dashboard credentials
Keep the proxy detail page open while you type into NekoRay.
2. Add HTTP first
If HTTP works, you can add a second profile for SOCKS5 with the same user.
3. Disable other VPNs
A second tunnel can bypass or fight the proxy. Test with only NekoRay enabled.
4. Stop when done
Disconnect the client so later traffic does not keep using the proxy by accident.
