How to check your proxy address
A one-request check catches typos, the wrong protocol, and location mistakes before they affect a full run.
Dashboard values
HOST and PORT identify the proxy endpoint. USERNAME and PASSWORD authenticate. Together they are the proxy address your client needs.
Public exit IP
The IP shown on a check site through the proxy is the exit, not necessarily the HOST. HOST is where you connect; the exit is where the target sees you.
Built-in tester
The proxy tester page can confirm connectivity without writing a script. Use it, then repeat in the real client.
Instructions
1. Copy values exactly
Paste HOST, PORT, USERNAME, and PASSWORD from the proxy detail page. Watch for extra spaces.
2. Run curl
Use the example below. A non-zero curl error means the client never reached the target through the proxy.
3. Compare IPs
Note the exit IP. After a dashboard rotation, the exit should change; HOST should not.
4. Open the real tool
If curl works and the app fails, the app is ignoring the proxy or using the wrong protocol.
